Got it done at Wallace Performance in Aberdeen. Dropped it off at 3pm and collected it at 4.45pm. Only thing is that the operator (Russell) who'm I have heard good things about, only mapped it to stage one. When I spoke to him on the phone about it when booking, he said that he would map it to stage two. His reason for this was that it still has the standard cat on and it's very restrictive and it was running out of puff at the top end. He did a power run before hand and it only came out with 198 BHP which is a fair bit down on before. Obviously the weather condidtions have a fair bit to play in this and I also didn't have in BP Ultimate like last time.
On the plus side, it has gained a whopping 68 Lb/ft torque!! And as we all know this is the stuff we want.
The outcome is as follows:
Max power 198.1 bhp @ 5705 rpm up to 227.4 bhp @ 5647 rpm
Max torque 198.2 lb/ft @ 3743 rpm up to 266.5 lb/ft @ 3217 rpm
Out on the road it is a lot better to drive. It's a bit snatchy at the moment but Russell says that once to ecu "learns" the new map and the driving style it will adjust this accordingly.
He has said that once I change the cat he will change the map to stage two for free, which cant be bad, eh?
