From what I remember mate, it "covers" the area underneath the car between the wheels in the middle - maybe a bit more either side. Sorry, I dont have no pics

However, as it was fitted to a 5 door hatchback it should fit to a 3dr too - as i think they are the same underneath. In essense, it smooths the air-flow underneath car and works in conjunction with the spoiler to reduce drag. The thin tyres are more to do with increased fuel mpg imo as is the gearbox.

    Hope that helps mate.

My mates scoob has one, definately helps with aero and its great for losing your socket bits in. Not sure why they tried making a scoob more aerodynamic though they are like bricks lol

I fitted an undertray to my Zafra, although I think so far youv'e been talking about the cardboard/plastic variety, mine is steel. On the "bad road package" they fit a sump gaurd that fits neatly on the subframe where the holes atre alreadt there for the 4 bolts. It extends all the way front to backand side to side and covers all theexhaust and gearbox and also smooths out the airflow. It has holes in it to enable engine bay air to escape and I have had no problem on my GSI with overheating. Cost £35 from Vauxhalls plus bolts.

PS very useful when your lowered although mine is only slightly it still has some scars on the tray so its doing its job

Sorry for the slight aside - But someone said a spoiler reduces drag - How does sticking something that interupts airflow over the rear of the car reduce drag?

Spoilers are there to increase downforce (although on a regular road car you would hardly ever feel the effect of this) - Increased downforce through use of a spoiler surely equates to higher drag co-efficient.
