    Euro Trip

I was going to be asking questions about age restrictions and insurance restrictions for travelling across Europe. All of our questions have now been answered! through the magic wounders of phones and 118 118 lol

Me, my gf, best mate and another mate are going travelling to Spain in.....

My Car next month end of August.

We thought we'd DOUBLE the mileage by adding on about 4 or 5 points / attractions to stop off at! So we've got about 16 days give or take one or two. 4,000 miles almost including travelling down South and about 13 full tanks of petrol lol!

    we start of:

    London To Calais
    Calais To Paris
    Paris To Lyon
    Lyon To Monaco
    Monaco To Marseille

    THEN

    Marseille To Barelona
    Barcelona To Valencia
Valencia To Benirdorm (Albir Where our apartment used to be)

we plan to see the sights and but make it there in less then 3 days.

By AA AutoRoute. we can make it to Barcelona From Calais In 18 hours.. non stop but thats not going to happen so.i think we may stop in Paris, for a hour or two, see the tower and other things then begin our 5hr dribe to Lyon. maybe stop off for the night, if we dont we shall continue on another 5 hour drive to Monaco

then the next days were gonna do a straight run down to Barcelona

i really cant wait. this only come together to day by complete random comment by me..

all we have to do, is now book our Euro Tunnel Ticket

At 1st, We were scared that we wouldn't be able to go but we've got everything sorted this afternoon and budgeted!

Has anyone ever travelled across Europe before? or done anything like this?

any places you would recommend to see? or stop off at?

I have been told that, apparentley, if you use a p2p programme such as ARES for example, u are able to search for said european tomtom maps and then download them to your computer. These maps can then be loaded onto your memory card.

Obviously this is illegal and infringes on numerous copyright laws and i personally would never consider doing this / or indeed reccomend to anyone that this should be done to obtain maps over legitimatley purchasing them.

Just thought i would let you know what i heard....
