After reading the threads over the last few days i think my dump valve has been plumbed in wrong.
I had a t piece in the OE DV vacumn pipe to my baileys DV. The one way valve was then fitted in between the t piece an OE DV. Like this the whoosh was massive and dumped at really low revs, didnt have any runnin probs. Have been runnin this for 6mths.
Since reading the threads i have changed the baileys vacumn source to the fuel pressure regulator pipe. The vacumn source to my FPR is now occupied by 2 t pieces, one for the Baileys and one for the boost gauge.
One way valve is still fitted in OE DV pipe.
My problem now is, the whoosh isnt as loud as my first setup - why is this?? Is it because there are 2 t pieces in the pipe now??
