    rattle, passenger side...

when driving at lowish speeds (sub 40mph) and going through mild bumps/rumbles in the road i can hear a medium pitch rattle... Been under there, trimmed the brake heat shield back to ensure its not that, nothing seems loose/playfull.

The bearing feels fine. cant see anything wrong. nothing feels wrong through the wheel... what the hell is it?

I have noticed a light oil leak from either the drivers side diff seal or the rear main seal (not toooo sure tbh), but cant attribute the leak to the noise i can hear.

More than likely be the anti-roll bar link, with the car on the ground and steering straight ahead lay on the floor and grab the link and try to move up and down, usually these rattle away quite happily

Is it likely to snap/do anything untoward if "left" for a bit?

Without knowing for def what it is can't really say, but if it is the anti-roll bar link then they can rattle away for ages quite happily, haven't had one snap yet
But your best to find out what it is sooner than later
