    Dumpvalve onto isuzu 1.7 16v

Hi guys was just wondering if any one has tried to fit a dump valve onto the isuzu tdi 1.716v engine? if so what would i need? plus would i lose power? It may be a silly question but i'm just up for trying it out .Any info would be helpful

    Thanks

You would need to disable the OE dv for that to work, you wont loose power unless the piston in the new DV is set at the right height

You will probably end up stalling the turbo and you sure as hell won't hear any woosh like your probably expecting.

If you want the dump valve sound then I would recommend one of those speaker systems you attach to a switch.

    sorry

My friend has one on his 306 DT, the dump valve is very loud - he is running higher boost. I dont think you will lose power, the derv doctor does them. The price is on the website www.dervdoctor.co.uk
    .. 2.0 Dti 16v ..
    .. With a few mods ..
