    Power sounder Batteries

    Hi Guys!

Well my alarm keeps bleeping at me everytime I turn the ignition key, So I guess it's trying to tell me that the batteries need replacing in my power sounder. Does anybody know if they are a special type of battery and if so where I can get them from?

    cheers!

Just to add, I have got the same problem, but the batteries dont seem to be available anywhere, and been trying to contact autovaux with no success for a replacment for the whole sounder.

Any other guys got some input???

if youve removed the power sounder then you have removed a vital part of the security system and therefore voided the Thatcham Cat 1 status of the system and ultimately possibly voiding ur insurance.....have u informed ur insurance??? I presume not

As has already been mentioned - u can quite happily replace just the batteries although its a bit of a ball ache to remove, split the casing, reseal etc etc etc when a replacement unit can be had from Autovaux and make a substantial saving from the price of a main dealer one.

Just some food for thought for those contemplating removing the power sounder totally
