The grill is made up from OPC bits, Vauxhall bits, and a great vision from the head of Lord Nikon....

So its an Opel grille with a griffin stuck on? Or is there more to it? I cant work out if the Opel blitz spreads into what would be the chrome bit or the colour coded bit if its an OPC.

yes basically its an OPC grille that's probably had the sticky out bits from the opel blitz smoothed over before he stuck a (vec c rear?) vaux badge on.

I think it's a superb touch to an amazing car

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

Are the sticky out bits a part colour coded bit? If cut them off would the grille need re painting? LMF sell opel painted grilles and i wanted to stick the griffin in its place.

Until it comes to copyright lol

It is basically, in my case 2 opc parts, the mesh and the top blue strip. The moulded blue strip comes with the blitz sign which does indeed spread out of the circle and onto the flat sections. These have been removed, and smoothed in, and filled, as it leaves small mounting holes for the badge !

The second section is the mesh, which also has the blitz emblem moulded into it, this has again been smoothed and cut away, but the angle follows the front section as it sits on the slope I have also used diamond shaped mesh behind to fill the hole and match the front plastic mesh.

    Good Luck

Right so if i bought this grille pictured below it would need some paint work after removing the Opel badge to fit a Vauxhall one? These come prepainted from LMF.
