any cheap engine mods for a 1.8???

    Hi all,

Was just wondering if there are any mods that I could do to the engine on my 02 1.8 SRi without spending any cash?
Also, does anybody else use the fuel injector cleaning solution that you add to your petrol? and are there any other solution like this that will clean and enhance the performance of the engine.

    Sorry guy/gals I am a noob

As said for starters do the Vectra C intake pipe and de-restrict your airbox, this is about as cheap as you can get, you can add a panel filter afterwards when you want
As for injector cleaners, the Forte range is very good, as is Wynns, but don't expect to see much in the way of performance gains from using it, they certainly won't do any harm and may improve your mpg slightly but thats about it
After these you need to think about exhausts next really

De-ristricting the airbox allows better airflow, the Vectra C intake pipe gets more air in, the links below will help you out
