Unhappy any one had this happen

Was driving home from work today in the rain, had my heaters on then after a few mins i noticed that the screen was steaming up so i turned the heaters up a bit but they didnt work! tried putting them on full but nothing !!!!!
tried the air-con that didnt work or the heated back windscreen
everthing else works aprt from the intermit wipers (which is a motor fault)
i stopped at my local petrol station turned the car off then back on again and as if by magic they all worked again
Is this a one off or should i get it checkd out as its going to the auto elec tomorrow for the wiper motor ???
any help with this one cheers

get it checked out seeing as its going in anyway

Have you had your centre console/dash out at all recently? if so it may be worth just checking if the plug for the heater controls is plugged in properly

i had this happen in my dads astra, check your ignition barrel astra seem to have a lot of play in them, start the car then pull the key slightly back so it sits where it should,i found out on his that if i did'nt do this the fans ect would not work, but this has never happened to me in my astra, there seems a lot of play in the barrel movement so could not be connecting with all contacts, hope this helps
