    Why?

    Might be a daft question as im sure they need it, but why do people have a monitor screen and also have the noraml cd player aswell?
    Or is that a equaliser thing or what ? lol

    but i thought when you bought a screen it also comes as a dvd player?

    TBH the output on most cheaper screen H/U's is crap, so think people leave the H/U in to run Amps, and just use the screen with the sound output going into the H/U.

    Some screens only have 1 pre-out which isn't much use if running a sub + front and rear amps.

    you can also get a screen and seperate dvd player cheaper than some of the all in ones

    Well if u can remove a head unit and insert a head unit....and remove a few pieces of interior trim then its a piece of piss.

    It's one hell of a tight squeeze getting the headunit in the lower slot but it can be done - like G.B. said. Had to shave a little off the front of lower slot of the plastic centre console so create a better fit - but I reckon if I rammed it in she woulda gone
