    Why has my insurance gone up?

    my insurance for my car is due next month so iv been looking around some quotes to see what the price is likley to be (expecting it to be the same or lower ) and low and behold its gone up by about £270 whats that all about? exactally the same car same details but iv got an extra years driving experiance!

    sometimes insurance companies do put the premiums up, due to claims in the area, too much competition, inflation etc.
    Plus all insurance companies are different and you'll get different results with each one.
    mine went up last year (down now) lol but there we are
    I'm after another Coupe Turbo

    Insurance goes up every year, as you get older, the extra years offset the cost increase, but as your a new driver, it's not gonna keep up for a while.

    Try the policy shop, they gave me a good quote then flux beat them, so i went with flux.

    Ratings/prices change all the time, that is some hike though.
