    kerbed alloys

    Hi everyone,
    my wife has recently kerbed 2 of my vxr 18" alloys,so now that i have banished her from using the car,can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative to getting my wheels re-furbed....are alloy reair kits any good,if so,which one.

    wouldnt use repair kits on em m8, there expensive alloys, i take it they are BK999's,


    id leave them mate or get them refurbed.
    Observe the masses and do the opposite

    yeah they are bk999's,already had that advice from the guy who was gonna re-furb them,but thought a kit may be cheaper alt

    Kerbed wheels are a real annoyance, my son has a type R, with 35 section rubber, it just leaves no room for error when parking etc, fatter tyres look untrendy/naff, but at least it's the rubber that hit's the kerb first.

    I had curbed two of my bk999's a short while ago It cost me £58 in total and the guy repaired them both in my work's carpark with out having to take the wheels off might be worth taking a visit to there website to see if there is somebody in your area http:\\www.chipsaway.co.uk

    No problems mate you wouldnt tell that they had been refurbed I was really pleased with the result
