    Harnesses

Whats the ruling with fitting harnesses? Can they be mounted totally to the seat or do they need to go to a solid bit of the car?

(I have 'eyes' on the seat which I Assumed would be for mounting a part of the harness but not sure abouts laws n stuff)

They need to go to secure mounting points (Like the standard mounting points)

So secure mounting points on the seat frame could do the job?

People who are familiar with 888 seats will know what I mean, just cant figure out how to name them lol

    maybe a photo would help?

IIRC harnesses must not be bolted to the seatframes, as if you have an accident the whole lot would come out and you'd go flying with your own personal ejector seat (minus the parachute )

I beleive you have to bolt them to the chassis or another structural part of the car in some way

The standard buckle is on the seat frame so I dont see why you wouldnt use that one.............but you would need to bolt the others down to a secure point
