    auto express buying tyres online

    auto express have done an article about good internet sites for car owners and this one was for cheap tyres delivered to your door,i know a lot of people use this way for buying quality tyres on here, so here's the link below for anybody who has not yet used them.

    That's expensive - you have to add about £10 per tyre for fitting, valve, balance and disposal onto their prices - my local independent will do the lot for the same as their delivered price.

    Try www.mytyres.co.uk for cheaper delivered prices.


    I've just rechecked their figures, they don't include delivery so they're significantly more than good independents - is this an advertising thread in the wrong place?

    Try event mobile tyres too...

    Have used these loads of times before... never had a single problem...

    Just as competitive as mytyres ive found..

    "is this an advertising thread",don't really know what that is supposed to mean,it was a case of me reading an article with some tips from AUTO EXPRESS and then passing on what i thought was a good site for tyres to other members,if they are to expensive so be it,did somebody have a bad day yesterday??

    None of these online places can even think about touching the prices of a decent local tyre fitter (I'm not talking Kwik-Fit or ATS etc). The Hi-Q place near me can fit a Bridgestone RE720 for £75 all in, and places like Mytyres are charging nearly £100 for the same tyre.

    6th Vauxhall (4th Astra) in 10 years...plus a couple of other sheds...
