    super urgent help needed

    right guys i need some advice asap

    changing my track rod end.. almost undone and then the bolt jams and wont turn! cant get it back on or off... the whole shaft just turns.. tried everything to get it undone, any ideas??? the new one has a hex key hole so would be easy but the old one doesnt..

    you have new track ends ??
    Cut the old Bolt off mate
    but first do you have a small blow torch ? heat the nut up as the nylon dose stick

    tried the heating idea... think its time for the grinder.. just borrowed one but have never used one before loL!

    you need to get pressure on the top of it pushing it back in and try to undo it.

    i tried that loads of times pepe it wasnt having in, its done now, grinded the old one off

    on the mk2 cavs i used to use a car jack to push it back in this always worked for me but its finding somewhere to mount the jack without causing any damage.
