Upon taking my wheels off to paint my calipers (black) I noticed the rear of my front brake discs has a raised section like a lip - shown in red. It seems to big and defined to simply be normal wear. Almost like a smaller sized pad had been used on it and its scrubbed in the grey section which has worn it down to create this raised lip.
And the front rear brake pads have been cut into by this section - shown in red.
Im sure this isnt right -
There is very slight lipping on the front of discs but nothing major and the discs have no warps or cracks/fractures. It spins fine - no wobble.
My brakes have been really noisy and squeaking, its slowly been getting worse over the last few months. So we had the pads off and cut into them abit and sanded down the groove on pads. Now there was no squeaking or squeals for a week but now its back as im sure pads have been re-worn in. Sounds worse then ever!
Should I be replacing my discs now?
