I have oakley transistion lens fantastic for driving as they react to the varying light conditions
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

well it all depends on how much you want to spend, there is always options such as burtons, next, river island, boots, asda, tk mak etc.

If your after spending more how about debenhams, house or fraiser, ****, ted baker etc. Shops like free spirit do some nice shades with proper lenses.

Or go even further and get designer shades, my current ones are Armani and cost £115

The choice is yours mate, if you have a habit of breaking/losing them i would certainly not spend alot of money!

If you want to protect your eyes properly, get a decent make known for sunglasses.

There are other manufacturers if you want to avoid Oakleys (but I've never seen any stigma attached to owners, I have a set with polarized lens, fantastic)
    Try Killer Loop, bolle etc....
Also think american eBay for cheap dollar bargains !

My wife always 'made do' with cheapies.....she did'nt care about them , kept breaking them, losing them, and they were not that great at shading sunlight !
I persueded her (well bought for her! )to get a proper pair, and she really gets the benefit from them and looks after them.

I have polarised oakleys. Used to work for sunglasses hut in southampton. Maui Jims are the best for quality vs cost. Good designs and some are lighter than the Whisker Titaniums that are £50 more. Better quality lenses too.
