    Mk4 cabriolet exhaust

Just bought a mk4 cabriolet but struggling to get a aftermarket backbox, find loads for the coupe but sellers reckon they won,t fit the cabriolet!

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers

Coupe ones fit the cabby fine. Turbo ones don't fit non turbo cars, also check for sleeve or flange fitment of your car. If you have sleeve you can get a conversion pipe for about £13 so you can fit a flange backbox.

Astra-G saloon/coupe/convertible all use the same platform (floorpan) which is 130mm longer than the hatch platform, all the extra being behind the spare wheel well.

The only difference between exhausts for hatch and saloon/coupe/convertible is the longer tailpipe for the hatch.
