    Exhaust options for my diesel astra?

    Right so wot exhaust options have i got for my astra 1.7dti...
    ive been told backboxes fitted onto dervs do not sound at all different to standard. is this true?
    Also wot is fitting like, ive looked and there is a lil cut out already..

    Lookign for a backbox to give a nice rumble but nothing too loud and ott

    any advice appreciated.

    Had a full system fitted to my vectra 2.2 sri dti last year doesnt really make that much difference in noise TBH.

    No point, the turbo takes up most of the noise. You'll only end up hearing the turbo whining, which more or less makes your car sound like a JCB.

    o well wont bother then..
    is it possible to put a exhaust tip on the standard 1.7dti zorst tho?
    as the exhaust kinda bends downt to the floor atm

    Yeah, any Powerflow place can hack off the bendy end and weld on a new tip for you, usually about £80.
