quick oil question regarding track days?

    CFS 10w60 Competition Fully Synthetic

would this oil be better for a track session or would the normal 10-40 synthetic be ok? taking her on rockingham next month so was wondering with probably hot day and car being thrashed all day would the higher rating be any better.
also would this oil be ok for driving in normal conditions ie on motorway going down to track?
    cheers.

Well, I would use it personally..... There would probably be people saying its too thick but hear my logic.

I wouldn't go over 3 k until the oil is up to full working temp or the pressure might be too high..... Then I would gun it knowing what ever temp the engine gets the oil will still be protecting. But soon as you get home i'd change it as it wont be any good for the street.

    Do you have gauges mate?
