    Air intake

    saw this on ebay

    and wondered if i got this and a k&n panel filter would there be much improvement or wuld it just a waste of money?

    this is for a 56 plate 1.8sri

    Its a wise modification but that one is a waste of money

    buy it new from Vauxhall for a lot less than that

    VXR Intake: 55558368
    Adaptor pipe from intake to airbox: 55558369

    Similar to the Vectra C mod which suits Mk4 etc but seeing as the VXR pipes were intended for the Mk5 then this would be ideal for your car.

    You dont have to fit an uprated panel filter for increased performance though. A brand new OE paper filter will provide the same performance with the only downside being the lifespan of a few years compared to the almost lifetime use the uprated ones provide.

    Just make sure u derestrict your airbox when u fit this. It will open things up and allow more airflow. Details in the HOW TO section
