    1.8 sri stainless manifold..

Does a stainless exhaust manifold exist for the 1.8 sri... that mates to a catt'd system (that will be stainless too) as the manifold is blowing and the system is a bit fubar on my hatch.

Which engine you have? X18XE, X18XE1 or the Z18XE?
Your looking at a price of £346.50 for the X18XE/X18XE1
but if you have the Z18XE then at £784

These are Lexmaul Exhaust manifolds which can be bought from Regal Autosports

I'm thinking of selling my polished stainles 4-2-1 manifold and sports cat soon. Fits both the z18xe and x18xe1 engines and will fit any astra exhaust. Comes with a lambda sensor and decat pipe too.

You'll have a Z18XE, same as in my coupe.

I'm looking for around £350 for everything. A little bit more if you want it installed as well. It will be polished up to as new and come with a gasket and new copper nuts.

I think that's a reasonable price, as its less than half that of the lexmaul (z18xe) and is actually tuned length with decent length runners, which I don't think the lexmaul can claim. Just got me through an MOT, and I actually get slightly better economy with it on. (Birmingham -> Newcastle trip costs about £25 of petrol as opposed to the original £30).

Reason for sale -> My new engine has a different stud pattern on the exhaust side of the head so I can't reuse this, otherwise I would be keeping it for sure.

Another little bonus is that it's 100% custom so completley individual.

I'll even through in a tube of the stuff I use to keep it shiny -> it works wonders!

The 1.8 changed from X18XE1 to Z18XE in mid 2000, ie build date 1st August so most 2000 models will be X18XE1.

Getting my camera back this week so please be patient. It looks pretty special, especially with my polished rocker cover. I'd also be persuaded to sell that, as the engine's coming out the car sooner or later.

It was made by a custom exhausts place in Newcastle where I at university, but I am currently in Birmingham for the holidays.

I can probably leave it for collection (if you don't want it fitting) at my mums house in Cambridge as I know that's a lot nearer Bishops Stortford, hate to think what it would cost to post, but I'm willing to meet half way on that (cost-wise), if you'd rather.

    Mark.
