    Unhappy knocking! why!?

just had my mk4 2.2 sri lowered on new springs n dampers. its got 17inch alloys on, i can hear a knocking from back when i go over the slightest bump, when stationery it doesnt look asthough they would catch on arches but could this be possible? why else could it be knocking?

when i lowered mine on fk highsport the bolts that were holding the dampers to the chassis werent tight enough and were allowing them to move about, i.e. move up and down and knock!

Yeah, mine was knocking at the back too. Two replacement dampers and top bolts and all sorted.

Mine does it..... didn't do it until i fitted my eibach. It's slowly gone away though only does it with speed bumps now. I read you should rotate the spring but i've not had a chance to do that yet. Also check the rear shock mount bolts are tight
