Rubish Mike Warner had one fitted to his CS4 mapped car and it did nothing at all after comparing the before and after figures.

im only saying what it did to my car read the post properly and you will see that having a regal inlet cam fitted to an already CS4 probably doesnt do anything having not been mapped by regal you have a specific mapp put in for it ie mike warner never did so there for no difference

Have a word with Mike Warner before you get it, he ended up losing power. He had the car mapped AFTER it had been fitted and he actually lost BHP. I'll see if I can find his thread.

Ah, found the the actual thread now, and maybe not a complete disaster, read for yourself and make your own mind up. I don't think he did have car mapped again after all.

Trust me i had it fitted to my Gsi and the difference after 4500rpm is very noticeable it justed pulled and pulled , still making over 260 bhp at over 7000 rpm. i had the map installed for the cam so no lumpy idle. Fact!

Understand cams before rubbishing or poo pooing the idea.

The cam holds the boost higher and longer inthe rev range. Mine is alittle lumpy at idle, but nothing unbearable. IMO its worth it as it also smooths the power delivery.
