You wont notice any difference at all, unless the new pistons are significantly different in weight to stock pistons. Yes you can change them from the bottom, my mechanic said it wouldnt be a problem when i was looking at it.

yea, you can change them from the bottom, its not that difficult really, just time consuming.

so wouldnt it make the engine feel stronger i thought forged pistons swell when they get hot so no boost escapes if you know what i mean ahh what will the standard rods take before they go bang

There is no way you can change zlet pistons from the bottom, head needs to come off.

its estamated that 300bhp is the limits for standard internals with everyday use but this is not proven just an advisory. you need to remove the head and bottom end to change the pistons etc so while your on you may as well gasflow the head get the cams reprofiled etc while its all down and then you will see a difference when its running again.

the standard rods are fine for about 350 bhp and you will have to remove the head for pistons

You need to remove both the head and the sump to change the pistons whilst the block is in the car.

it's much easier to do it with the engine out tho

350hp with high torque at 3krpm with stock rods ? I'd like to see that running desired boost.
also 300hp for stock pistons definitely isn't safe....

plenty of lets in the UK running high 290' bhp near on 300 with stock internals.

Its not all about the boost either
