    astra mk5 pops when pulling away

    Just got a mk5 sri 1.8vvt, makes a wierd pop/click pulling away after starting and taking tha handbrake off for the first time. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Does the MK5 do the same ABS test the MK4 does where it is more of a twang sound?

    Could be the rear pads sticking to the disc. Always happens on mine when it's damp or wet. Also you get a noise from the pads when you change direction as they move about in the caliper.
