    VXR temperture gauge

I can not for the life of me find the temp gauge or indication of one in my Astra. I have looked at the speedo and rev dials with just the ignition on and can not see anything at all resembling a temperture symbol. Where can it be? When I'm on the move , the two gauges I keep my eye on mostly are the temp and fuel dials, but one seems to be missing! Your help please.

Yup you have to go through the onboard computer to get it. However completly agree a complete muck up by Vaux. Although agruements against having is you don't need one unless something goes wrong but then you have a warning light.

Still I know what you mean I do like knowing whats going on under the expanse of metal infront of the windscreen. Shouldn't be too hard to retro fit an aftermarket one!

Reason for it not being there is they caused more problems than anything else which is why they have been removed.

Stu Harris (VXR bloke at Vx) confirmed on another site that the cars have to be up to normal operating temperature after a minute to meet the current Euro emissions standards so the coolant temp gauge would be usless. Now if you were to want an oil temp guage you would have some useful info as to whether the engine is warm enough for a blat
