    Tailboard harness

    I read someware that the tailboard electrics plug into a connector in the boot but where do i find this connector?
    I'm like a bad penny, old, dirty, and appears when not wanted.

    Tailboard connectors are usually the normal 12N plug just like any trailer or caravan. The car needs a 12N socket fitting externally, usually on the towbar.

    The internal 9-pin connector, hidden behind the boot trim is used to connect wiring to the external 12N socket.

    My 2000 W reg SRi doesn't have the 9 pin connector behind the rear trim panel. I took out all trim from the seats backwards to find it wasn't there, and no sign that it's been cut out either
    0-60 in 6.5 secs and 48mpg- winner!
