Thumbs Up strut brace fitted today :)

In a recent project of mine to try and improve the handling of my 98 3dr astra i bought the following and fitted it last wednesday.

    - bilstein sport dampers
    - eibach -30mm springs
    - 215/40R17 avon zz3 on BSA 5 spokes

i was happy with the result but it still felt (although very grippy) a bit snakey and not as tight as i had expected on the front.

about 2 hrs ago i finished fitting a RaidHP polished alloy strut brace and it has made a huge difference. she's much quicker to react and the initial turn in is excellent

    happy man, recommended mod!

I will ad a pic in my garage, if anybody is interested to see!

I've mine on a 55/20 drop with matched dampers (Weitec Ultra GT kit), and Whiteline rear ARB. It's good, but still not roller-skate enough. Strut brace may well be the next option, because the body flexing on hard cornering makes the doors rattle!

And does it really make THAT much of a difference?
Mine's lowered 50mm all round on Eibach springs, Bilstein dampers, and has an adjustable front strut brace. What benefit will i see on top of that?
