    quick question, need a quick answer; pls

    Got an error code
    P1106 Wastegate Solenoid A

    Is this the one on top of the turbo or the one "behind".

    if its the one behind how the heck do I get at it
    Ive ordered 55557806 to replace it.

    if its the one behind jack up you car and lay underneath to get to it, did mine last week and its easy enough, more uncomfy than anything. small torx and ratchet req and about ten mins of your time. give it a go. you can do it!!!!!!!!

    Do not get under the car if suspended with a trolley jack! make sure you use axel stands.

    It's normally the one on the turbo to blame, but check your actuator os correctly adjusted first.

    Axel stands...thats waht i mean I have no more than a tool kit...I always take to a garage if it means getting underneath.
    I should have bought two to be sure....

    My warning light comes on and the car goes into limp mode so I prosume its the back one seeing as the cars had a VXR Turbo?

    Mine did this when the vxr turbo was fitted and IT WAS THE FRONT ONE!

    OK cheers for that.. I will try that one first seeing as its easier.
    It would make sense that being solenoid A aswell.
