ive done all the norm relay covers ect but out of stainless. my battery died on my car yesterday and the new one is smaller so have to make a new battery cover at some point.

cleaning it up was soul destroying it nearly got thrown down the workshop. it could doo with a final wet a dry then buffing. im thinking of replacing the pipe work to the trottle body with polished ally but i have got any tube at the mo.

to be honest now ive made 1 it would only take a few hours to have it fabricated together with the welds ground out its just the time it takes to wet and dry it from course the fine and the polishing.

Looks great, but is it not heavier than the original?

Also I would be very cautious with a stainless batter cover a risk of shorting out over the terminals.
