    Angry Dilemma with insurance!!!

    Hey Guys,

I called up Endsleigh today to amend my insurance policy. I wanted to put my Lumma LPC-R front bumper, univeral spoiler, JDL rear skirt, angel eyes and debadged front grill onto the policy, only to find they wont let me put it on my policy. They said as I have added the alloys and exhaust system to my policy already, they wont accept any aditional modifications to the car. I've been with them for 6 months now, and I really don't wanna have to leave all the parts I have bought in the garage for another 6 months. What other options do I have? Has anyone else had a simular problem???

Tell them to FOAD, demand a refund for unused policy and get a decent insurance company like Adrian Flux.

all I can say is next time use Adrian Flux - best quote I've ever had and great with modified. It ended up that my modified 2.0i cost LESS to insure with Flux than my 1.4 did with budget!

If I cancel my insurance policy with my current insurer will I loose my previous no claims discount? I really do not want to have to wait 6 months to modify my car when I have spent nearly a grand on parts for it.

You won't lose your previous no claims, you just won't get the 6 months you've accrued from this year.

ie if you've been with them 2.5 years, then you'll have 2 years.

I'll call my insurance company tomorrow and kick off at them and see if threatening them with canceling my policy will get them to budge. I have go onto AF's website and given them my details, so hopefully I will get a quote tomorrow.

Spoke with AF today and they quoted me £200 less than my current insurer inc all the mods. I am well happy!
