    Courtenay vxr boot pipe fitted(prelim)

bought 5 metres of ally 51mm tubing for £18 so bloody cheap, Had 2 cut meself though, lol. then took 3 pieces upto pipecraft as they gona bend for me,so i will have one polished piece with 90 degree going from end of boost pipe down to the ic. but thought just in case bends were to large i would have back up plan. so set about trying to fit the vxr style courtenay boost pipe with sensor mount, without removing bumper or wheels had to change the pipe intake side as there were 63mm b4 i got 51mm.
wot a freeaking knightmare, lol been there 4hrs,nearly getting hand stuck like numerous times
thought was gona have 2 get someone 2 call fire brigade, but fairly liquid comes in handy for sure

Oh btw its a very tight stretch for the sensor to the sensor mount on the boost pipe,i found having the mount at 5 o'clock or maybe 6 o'clock. helps a lot,if its rocker cover side its too stretched imo

    Before

ignore the blue hose as my polished 90 degree ally bend shud be here thurs
    After

oh and it wouldnt be me without a prob or 2. so i forgot 2 tighten one clip, booted it and hose came off, lost all power engine spluttering like a B1tch,but now sorted that

gsi bumper going in for spraying 2moz fitting friday and full valet inside out inc engine bay and paint correction hopefully
booked in for skin graft next wk as have no skin left on me hands, lol

    Looking good Andy.

Looks like there will be a few of these intercoolers at PV this weekend.

Should look mad behind the GSi bumper

yeah gd idea tbh,the courtenay setup stretches the sensor a bit much imo, they need to bring it down the pipe a bit
