Best way of attaching new plates without drilling?

Alright folks, my new plates have turned up today. I have offered them up to my existing ones to see where the holes would need to be but now i don't fancy drilling them at all.

I was wondering if anyone has attached their plates without drilling them, or what other alternatives i may have

    Cheers, Dave

I used Double Sided Sticky Pads, you shud be able to get them from any motor factors that makes number plates.... roughly 3/4 pads per plate to make sure they dont move.

    Screwless is the way foreward!!!!!!!!

you can get attachments from frauds - you screw the 2 brakets into the holes in the car - and then peel off the d/sides tape - and attach the plates

Got a mate in a bodyshop to get me the proper tape.

get the 6mm thick 'fixer' number plate pads from halfrauds, ive never had a plate come off with these and have been using them for many years. they are good for the rear as, a, the rear plate wont rattle against boot when u crank your subs up! and b, where the rear plate screws on, the plastic recepticles stick out by 2 or 3 mm so the 6mm pads give u plenty of space

yep halfords tape is the best for the job, always used it without an issue and is a bugger to get off when you change your plate!

Could always use some decent velcro, it was strong enough to hold my sub in place.

Forget Halfords imo - get the green number plate tape backer stuff from Motorworld etc - the one that is in the red blister packaging (can't remember the brand) - it is the best stuff you can get (the Halfords stuff is the same iirc but much smaller piece for the same cost as a reel of the above).
