    Exhaust

    Hi Guys and Gals, I need a bit of help.

    Im looking for a decent quality exhaust that will fit straight onto my 2001 1.6 MK4 without any modifications needed. and I dont want to spend much money .

    Any suggestions.......

    I can reccomend the peco aluminised steel backboxes. I just sold mine as it was a little loud for my missus but it cost me 140 brand new for the tail trim i wanted...they do others which are cheaper in single tail pipe styles. Mine went straight on with no fiddling at all.
    Dont be tempted by a universal backbox...universal is just another word for 'fits nothing'

    Dont universal back boxes need fitting by a mechanic/welder.

    I live 5mins from the peco factory.

    Yes, they are supplied as literally a plain silencer with a tailpipe on it and usually need hangers welding on and a pipe made up to match the existing middle section. Try peco's website, im sure you could collect it if you phoned them
