Lightbulb Mod my air box with electric fan.

ok, im not a mad racer, but im a little dissapointed with my 1.8 astra coupe engine as she just seemed weak in the lower revs and when pulling away, i de-restricted the airbox, and its like a new car, and i seriously mean that, its a lot lot lot more responsive and the veccy pipe is on the way to the stealers and will be there with the adaptor by friday, so whay the hell am i on about... ok here it goes, when looking around ebay i found an induction kit cone with a 12 volt fan built into it which sucked in and blew air into the intake pipe of what ever car it was designed for, now what drew my interest was they were asking for about 60 or 70 notes "I THINK" dont quote me on it, for the fan assisted filter, now the fan was the same size and build quality of a pc cooling fan, now what i wanted to do was put a fan like that inside my airbox right across from my intake pipe on the clean side of the airfilter and put a switch inline to turn it on and off, a switch for "off road use" thank god for that loveable insurance clause i have. anyway back to what i want to do, the real question is will it make any improvement at all does anyone think??

anyway sorry for rambling on and for probably posting in the wrong section but its like electrical and engine

It'll do sod all, but create a risk of disintegrating and getting sucked into the TB or worse.

read, and digest this excellent article on the subject.....
