    blue smoke from my mk 4 gsi !!!

    av noticed blue smoke when letting me car idle for about 10mins coming from me exhaust, and it kicks out when a put my toe down!

    have a got major turbo problems? av got 6 months warrenty left so am goin to book it in this week to get checked out at dealership.

    It does sound like the oil seals have let go a little

    usually means piston rings or oil seals..
    There's always room for improvment..
    Doesnt help that im just fussy..

    could be your turbo blown mate as mine smoked when it went started just a little then just got worse burning loads of oil

    What oil are you running it on? 5W/30 vxl oil is too thin.

    check all your breather pipes mate and make sure they not blocked or damaged first, and keep an eye on your oil level. If its not going down and not smoking all the time its less likely to be the turbo.

    What oil are you running the car on if its 5w/30 i had the same problem and both courtenay and regal say it is to thin and recomend 10w/40 i think. i changed to 10w/40 fully synthetic and was fine.
