    Anyone explain this??

Right my car has been in it's current state of 'tune' for about 12 months. (Standard+VeccyC+K&N)

    In Dec I ran on Thorney's RR and got: 130.8bhp @ 5460rpm & 140lb/ft @ 3500rpm on Tesco 99.
    Yesterday ran on Marlins and got: 135.6bhp @ 5835rpm & 132lb/ft @ 4800rpm on BP Ultimate 97.

The only thing that has changed is that I have a shiny new battery. I know that different RR give different results but surely if torque goes up so should bhp?!? Could the different fuel really make this difference??
    0-60 in 6.5 secs and 48mpg- winner!

You got your Graph's?, make sure the Torque and BHP curve's cross at 5252 RPM.

Lot's of thing's will change your result's, Temperature, Humidity ect..

Also the fact that your comparing 2 different Dyno's make's your result's pointless

Your Torque and Horsepower Curves should cross at 5252 rpm.

At 5252rpm every engine's torque (lbft) and Power (BHP) figures are exactly the same.

I may be wrong but i think the Dyno's been incorrectly calibrated.

Dynos are not accurate, and you'll get a different figure every other day on the same dyno. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah that should be true for every single engine. I can remember this being discussed on here in the past.

What RPM did your lines cross Teejay?

    Edit, problem solved

the lines would cross at 5252RPM if the values were the same on both side of the graph. But the torque goes up to 500, whereas BHP only goes up to 250. If the torque only went to 250, the lines would cross on 5252.
Looking at my thorney graph it is the same. It crosses at 2100RPM on that as the values on the graph are different again.
