    Lowering my Astra G sedan

Hey.. iam looking into lowering my astra G sedan. i want to lower it 35mm. i am in aus and iam going to be using king spring lows for the 35mm drop. Altho i have a few question i want cleared up befor i do it.

I am running 215/45/17 rubber on rims with an ET of 42. is this wheel tyre combo recomeneded when looking at a drop of 35mm ???

It looks like the front whill definetly rub but a few people have told me it SHOULD be ok ? (its hard to tell if it will scrub or not)

I have also been told that only changing the springs will result in a more harsher ride (obviously) and i will end up with a bounce ride which will float down the road. instead of obsorbing the bumps

altho i have also herd that the stock shocks will be ok with a 35 mm drop ??

it would be great to hear from anyone who has done this.

    thanks for the help.

Generally 30mm is fine on standard shocks so can't see 35mm being an issue.
Rubber is slightly larger than the standard size over here, but a few people run that size tyre with a bigger drop with no problems.

Its a near perfect offset on the wheel so you shouldn't have any rubbing problems.
