Can you any problems with this?

Don't want the stealth shelf anymore, just a standard one.

So i decided to try and mount the 6x9's under the shelf supports.

Don't think they will sound very good mate. The speakers need something to resonate in and being suspended beneath the grille like that won't do it.

If you want it there what i did with mine was drill two holes at the bottom of the plastic bit and cable tie it through, the other side does sit in steady, have to get it just right.
    hope this makes sence

Yeah i think i saw what you mean earlier when "trialing" it
So if its tighter to the plastic, they will sound better?

If you have to have 6 by 9's there can you not make up a MDF template to secure it to, sure it will sound better then

They are very tight to the plastic.
    No rattles/vibrations.
They sound good, sound is further apart, than when in the stealth shelf.
