Also no need for the injectors unless going over 300 bhp

as above really id say, 290bhp is close to 300bhp so to be safe best to fit them,
but tbh if you've got all the other mods you have for the sake of the £60 for the injectors i think id get them aswell, even if they dont help, they cant hurt.

So what else does Turbodara need to get from 250 to 290?

Asking because I have pretty much the same spec as Turbodara... (in the garage instead of on the car though!)

    Thanks.

Got a feeling people might say "take it to Regal or Courtenay" as their VXL tuners.

However I reckon if u take it somewhere for a "live map" you'd perhaps see better gains too.

I dont think u need anymore items, as has been suggested, Courtenay state u need those items to get 280-300bhp... so why 260 has been suggested can only mean they they dont think ChippedUK are capable of getting 300 out of the engine?

Your set up should allow 280 bhp.

You need the VXR injectors to obtain over 270 (ish) as the standard ones run out of duration and in the mid range you can feel it.

The VXR injectors have much more capacity and at 280 the only things holding you back are the turbo and then the pistons.

The stock ECU can be programmed to over 400bhp......in fact I'm not sure any one has built an engine that has exceeded ithe ECU's ability yet.

With a live map make sure they build in some tollerence to the conditions on the day they map it (if it's cold for instance) and the type of fuel you're running (at times we all have to use unleaded 95 ron).

I'm sure any competent tuner will have these considerations in their mind, let us know how you get on.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!
