    18"s on standard springs

hi, i have an sri t with standard alloys at the moment, i may be able to get hold of some 18"s, just wonderin if they wil go straight on without any messin about, as the tyres look really low profile, if u know wat i mean!!!!
would there still be enough room in the arches for speed bumps and such like???
    thanks

I have just fitted 18"s and its lowered 60mm all round the tyres are 215/35/18 they went straight on with no problems, so i would have thought yours should fit with no problems depending on the offset

The ride will become harder just by changing the wheels because you are going to a lower profiled tyre.

I had a few days of 18" on standard suspension, and it looked real sh*t.

If you wanna keep the standard suspension, definitely don't got for 18s, unless you are building a 4x4 off-road replica.
