    Scented Pollen Filter?

Just changed the pollen filter, with appreciated help from the 'how to'.
Anyway, I'm sure the pollen filter in my dad's Audi is a scented one, can you get these for the mk4?

yeah it would work fine until the scent ran out like it does when you put it on you! You'd need to rescent it every 2-3 days with aftershave/deodorant. The filling from an air freshener should last a few weeks/months.

personally I think keeping your pollen filter as clean as you can by changing it every 1000-2000miles and having a decent vent mounted air freshener would be just as good and less hassle.

The cost wouldn't really be an issue either, as a lot of people change the oil in their cars every 5k and that costs several times more than a pollen filter - especially as you can get them for £4 a pop (or less if you bulk buy thru eBay like I have )

Does your pollen filter even do that much that it needs to be changed every 1-2k miles? Ive no idea when mine was last changed, most likely over 14k miles ago.
