Look in the HOW TOs for painting interior plastic

    all the info is there

get a can of plastic filler primer too - it'll fill in any imperfections etc

stick with 240/400/600/800 (some ppl use 1200/1500 to flat lacquer - personally I find it scratches too much)
I also use 100 grit for the initial flatting of the textured finish - not sure if this applies to the H though

Halfords sell a mixed pack of wet and dry for £1.99, might be ok to start with.

Halfords Project Pack is £4.99 and will have everything you need for a few jobs and a few sheets left over for next time.

On textured plastic I've used 80 then 240 then 400 then used filler primer then 600, then regular primer then 800 then colour then 1200 then lacquer.
Then T-Cut or similar to get a perfect finish.
    0-60 in 6.5 secs and 48mpg- winner!
