    BCS replacement HELP!

Currently in the process of replacing both boost control solenoids.

Tis a bitch of a job and my arms look like they have been dragged through rose bushes, Anyway, replaced the front no problems, come to do the rear, and as with the front the connectors on the new ones are slightly larger than the old ones, now I have the hardest pipe on (did it backwards connected the rubber pipe to the bcs off the car then to the plastic pipe to fuel rail.

But the other two, (that go onto black connectors not the metal one) are nigh on impossible to get on, I need hints / tips on getting tight pipes over connectors, tried fairy liquid, all that did was make my hands slippy as the pipe still didnt go on, kinda in a rush to get this finished now

Just pondering now if the new ones 'wear' as such like the old ones. Considering changing every other service, only like 24+vat or whatever it was.

Brute force, some hot water and chainmail elbow length gloves required for this job!!

Have done both of mine too and it does make a massive difference. Well worth doing if your car is running like a bag of crap.
