    Thumbs Up Astra GTC

    Hi Guys

Here in South Africa we get the Astra GTC, with a panoramic windshield. Do anyone here have one, as I have only seen them in publicity photos.

    Thanks!

i havent got one, like the look of them from the inside but i do think they look a little like their hair is receeding if you get what i mean, they remind me of a 25ish year old who is going bald....no idea why

No I don't for the same price I can get the 177Kw OPC MKIV. And here we have about 300 days of sunshine a year, that is going to do some serious burns to my head :-)

I saw one the other day, looked pretty good. I didn't think they were going on sale in this country though for some reason

Had a seat in one at local vaux garage at the weekend, are actually really cool inside, bit wierd, feels like sitting in a convertible having no headlining in view but a really neat touch from the inside.

i like the look of them, but i wouldnt pay extra for something that dont really have any point, and just an extra cost if you have a problem with your windshield

If something happens to the windshield is the insurance's problem :-) But it does look nice though!

depends on what you excess is. if it costs less to replace it than what your excess is then its not worth going through you insurance. For example my excess is £500 because im 20. plus then if you do go through you insurance then you lose your ncb.

But if its just stone chips then your RAC or AA cover could cover it (my AA covers chips)
