    Why the big difference...

    between a remap on a turbo/td and non turbo, it just pees me off sometimes that remaps on a turb/td is about 40 bhp and loads of torque, but a non turb is only about 8bhp and a little torque.

    There is a lot more to tweak on a turbo.

    On a NA engine, the only way to get power is by adding mechanical parts.

    Its very easy to increase the boost, bring the turbo in earlier, widen the rev range and flatten out the torque curve to give maximum performance.

    The only thing you can really change on the N/A is timing settings & air/fuel mixture. Thats it. N/A's will never give you good remap results when compared with the turbo boys. But at least you don't have to worry about the turbo seizing and costing you £500 to replace

    SC & Turbo are totally different to drive, I can understand why the SC is popular.
