    Question Central Locking Question

    Hi Guys

    Just a quick question:

When I lock my car, with the key, it locks after this 1st press, but if I press it again it sounds like it's locking again, but it is definitely locked after the 1st time. Any ideas what it could be doing?

    Thanks!

Yeh, if you press it once, it locks the car and twice puts the deadlocks on... which means after the 2nd press if some1 smashes your window and pulls the lock pin up it wont open the door ... Also i believe if it has an alarm on this is activated on the 2nd press aswell

It's trying to lock it again, even though it's already locked. Every car that has had a lock and unlock button that i've used has done this. You can hear the locks clicking when you press the lock button after locking it. I think it's normal.

    Or what jcastraDTi said.

This is the "double locking". I have it in my astra; deactivate the door pins and engage the alarm. [[]]
