    Astra G 1.8 Coupe - Temp. Gauge Problem/Fault...?

Hi, i have got a 2000 Astra Coupe Bertone 1.8 and i have got someing wrong with the temp gauge going funny..
In the morning start it up no problems drive normaly in town then you see the temp gauge riseing slowy.. then you see it coming to 90 after the ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM LIGHT comes on (Raditor + Fan Light)... then the fan would not go in.. but when you stop the car and start it back up the fan goes in and would make it go down from FULL (100)... comes back too 90...
I changed the Temp. Sensor because it said that it needed one from a diagnostics test... but nothing changed..
i have go no idea what it is can anyone help?..

    cheers...

You've done the right thing by changing the temperature sensor. Next I'd be checking all the connections fuses/wires/connectors ect. Next I'd be looking at the relay, it could be sticking. I haven't got my manual till I get home to tell you where to check. But thats where I'd start looking.

    Hope that helps a bit
